Job Summary

Kforce has a client in the Hartford, WI area that is looking for a Controller. This role will be responsible for managing all facets of the accounting operations for company, including the monthly close cycle, financial budgeting/forecasting/reporting, internal controls, and supporting operations/organization. Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Supervise, mentor, develop/train, set expectations, review performance, and lead the accounting team, which currently consists of both direct and indirect roles
- Financial close process - own and coordinate the financial close process
- Develop schedule to hit the review and reporting deadlines
- Enter/supervise journal entry process
- Understand significant or unusual variations to forecasts/budgets and other comparisons, and communicate to appropriate management
- Prepare local financial statements, supplemental requirements and analyses
- Forecasts - prepare forecasted information requested, such as cash, order/sales projections, and monthly financial results
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration
- Five to ten years of progressively responsible experience in the accounting/finance area
- Should have experience in preparing financial information and able to explain the results various levels of management
